Updates....

Clearly this blogging has gone well for me..... whatever. Garrett and I are still not completely unpacked and organized in our house. I have a feeling our house party will be more like a "Yay-we've-been-in-the-house-one-year" party. Oh well. As long as it's a party, I'm good with that! My Master's degree has kept me insanely busy. I've only got 2 classes left, but they are both currently consuming my time and kicking my butt. I'm supposed to be done in August, but I have a feeling it will be more like September as I may need more time on this Leadership class. Oh well, no big deal because it will get done!!! YAY!!

Other news....oh yeah....we're getting married!! July 11th at 12:00 pm on the beach!! I was just thinking that I used to think that I never wanted a beach wedding because it was too cliche'....but lookie here....I'm in love with this idea!! We've got the beautiful beach as decor....who could ask for more??!! I'm especially stoked because my grandparents were married on July 10th and Garrett proposed with my granny's wedding set!! Apparently he and my mom had been secretly planning this....AWESOME!!!

And....let's see....Toby dog is still kinda sick. He's getting better, but it's taking time. I think it's cause he is older so he'll take longer to get better. Ricky turtle is a maniac. He turned over his huge rock/cave thingy in his tank yesterday morning and has been kicking rocks around furiously. Apparently he decided it was time to re-decorate and renovate...more power to ya turtle!

And now....the end. I'm done. I'm hungry. I've got papers to write. I update my blog pathetically. Yay.

Peace out.

The first of how many?

So, I realize that I opened this account months ago...as in last year....to follow Heather in her promise to post weekly...or was it monthly?LOL! Love ya girl! AHS Newwave Alum Kleber started one and I was like, hey, don't I have one of those? Oh yeah. So, here I am; here's my first post.

Not much really going on other than renovating and slowly moving into the new house. It's been super fun, yet super annoying also. Started a new job at a new school which is much cooler than the other school; my stress level has diminished greatly and I find I can concentrate on a lot more of my personal school work now. It's nice.

The Blazer overheated the other day so I'm now in a quest for a new car. Dang.... new house, new job, new car... all sorts of "new" in this life of mine. Interesting.

I'm currently attending a Monday night Bible Study on Esther. I had never really given her much thought until this began and it's really interesting. Beth Moore is amazing. I wasn't raised in church or the Bible, but I was raised to trust God with all that I am and that Jesus is my Savior. However, the Bible Studies I've attended in the last 3-4 years have greatly increased my knowledge and my faith. When my car broke down on the highway the other day, instead of breaking into tears and wailing "Why me!" I was like, "Dang, okay, frustrating, but God's got it covered." It was super-nice having that feeling.

And, now I have to go tackle the mountain of ironing that it piling in my basement....peace out!
